Info on type of contracts and salary

Researchers/PhDs will be recruited under a 36 months Research Fellowship (Assegno di Ricerca – AdR, art. 22 L. 30/12/2010, n. 240- AdR- here we will upload in pdf the English versionmodel/ template of the in pdf)) which will comprise:

a living allowance, corresponding to the gross salary (employer/employee) paid in monthly instalments to fellows, inclusive of all social security coverage, contribution to pension funds (gestione separata INPS) and unemployment indemnity

a mobility allowance for fellows’ expenses linked to their mobility (relocation expenses)

The monthly gross salary for each recruited researcher, including living and mobility allowances, will be of Euro 2.709. Fiscal treatment, Social security (SSC) and sick/maternity or paternity leave will be fully covered according to the Italian Social Security regulation. An Insurance will be also provided to cover for accidents and civil liability towards third parties,

In addition to the above:

  • A family allowance of Euro 300 (for those who have the status of family as defined in the Guide for applicants) will be applied and be part of the gross monthly salary
  • A monthly travel allowance of Euro 300 in the form of refunding of travel costs for secondments and international networking is guaranteed for each recruited researcher.

Each fellowship will also include a contribution to costs needed to carry out research projects (e.g. consumables, publications, others) and a contribution to the training activities (e.g. local and network trainings), managed directly by the programme coordinator.

 

Working conditions

UNINA hosts several international students (MSc, BSc) within the Erasmus Programme, visiting researchers and Professors involved in seminars and courses, besides foreign students regularly enrolled in Bachelor, Master or PhD Programmes.

Dedicated offices are available to support the recruited PhDs in any administrative and practical issues, and full access to the university leisure activities is provided:

International Affairs Office, to help with bureaucracy and with the paperwork to be prepared to formalize the enrolment in the specific Doctoral programme;

International Students Union (ISU) offers a free service find accommodation in Naples and to solve other important practical issues (e.g., social security card, bank account, visa);

A central library and several libraries free access;

5 museums at UNINA free-of-charge;

The University Sport Center (CUS) with discounted prices for gyms, swimming pools and other sport activities;

Services for the Active and Participatory Inclusion of Students (SInAPSi) that facilitate the participation in UNINA life;

Depending on the specific project, there will be access to microbiology and molecular biology laboratories, bioreactors and fermenters, equipment for metabolomics and clinical trials on humans and animals and all the research equipment and materials needed to develop each PhD.

The datacenter SCoPE (Cooperative System for multidisciplinary Scientific Computing), a set of computing and storage resources available by means of distributed computing paradigms, will be available and used for computational intensive analyses requested by for the projects.
